Sean

Sean Rhee, DDS

Dr. Sean Rhee grew up in Eureka, a small coastal town in Northern California. He attended Eureka High School where he excelled academically and participated in many extracurricular sports including golf, football, basketball, and baseball. He was subsequently accepted to the University of California at Berkeley, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in bio-resource.

After finishing his undergraduate education, he attended the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry. When he graduated, Dr. Rhee moved to Sacramento and practiced for a couple of years, and gained valuable experience in treating patients. However, his interest in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry brought him back to the University of Southern California, where he received a three-year postgraduate degree in periodontology.

Dr. Rhee is a board-certified periodontist. He is also a member of the Dental Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and a recipient of the John Ingle Award for Outstanding Achievement of Basic Sciences Research at USC.

In his free time, Dr. Rhee enjoys playing golf, basketball, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Katherine Tran, DDS

Dr. Katherine Tran is a board eligible periodontist with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care. A San Jose native and graduate of Cupertino High School, Dr. Tran began her journey in healthcare at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. 

Driven to provide advanced, specialized care, Dr. Tran completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, where she deepened her expertise in complex dental care. She later pursued specialty training in periodontology at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, earning her certificate in periodontology.

With over four years in practice, Dr. Tran is passionate about working collaboratively with both her patients and their general dentists to ensure the best long-term outcomes. She believes in involving patients in every step of their treatment planning process, empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling to explore new cities and cuisines, watercolor painting, practicing pilates, and hiking under the California sun.
