Dr. Sean Rhee grew up in Eureka, a small coastal town of Northern California. He attended Eureka High School where he excelled academically and participated in many extracurricular sports including golf, football, basketball and baseball. He was subsequently accepted to University of California at Berkeley, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Resource.
After finishing his undergraduate education, he attended University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry. When he graduated, Dr. Rhee moved to Sacramento and practiced for a couple of years and gained valuable experience in treating patients. However, his interest in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry brought him back to University of Southern California, where he received a three year post graduate degree in Periodontology.
Dr. Rhee is a Board Certified Periodontist. He is also a member of a Dental Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and a recipient of John Ingle Award for Outstanding Achievement of Basic Sciences Research at USC.
In his free time, Dr. Rhee enjoys playing golf, basketball, skiing and spending time with his wife and two children.
